Our Story
Jungle Wellness was founded by Salvador González, with the goal to expand the offerings of his services, skills and knowledge in the most personalized, professional, and convenient way.
Working for the last 7 years in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica treating clients from all over the world, providing physical therapy and personal training during home visits, the time to grow arrived.
As of 2023 Salva expanded his offerings and services to home visits and online sessions while building a community of trusted physiotherapy, massage, and other wellness practitioners to offer an even more holistic approach to healing.
Salva González, Founder
Born in Madrid, Spain. Salva has committed his life to the art of healing through the physical and energetic body. Sports, nature and physical activities have always been an important part of his life, starting as a martial arts student at 3 years old.
He explored different sports, and had the chance to compete at various levels nationally. Through free diving and sailing with his father every summer, Salva developed a love for nature and a special bond with the ocean.
Through his studies at European University of Madrid, Salva received degrees in Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy. He has committed his life to improving his skills and expanding his education while working in private and public services, including clinics, hospitals and gyms in countries all over the world.
In 2011 he visited Central America for the first time, establishing his home in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in 2017. Here in Santa Teresa, Salva is able to share his expertise in physiotherapy, deep tissue and sports massage, and physical wellness while connecting with his passion for nature, the ocean, surfing and diving.
